I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New York.  I have extensive experience treating adults ages 18-50 from a psychoanalytic and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic approach for a wide range of issues.  In my private psychotherapy practice I treat a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma (bullying, neglect, abandonment, sexual, physical, or emotional abuse), sexual orientation, race/racism/colorism, children of alcoholics, HIV+, cultural concerns, and those with eating and body image issues.

I am a graduate of Cornell University and New York University.  And I trained at SCO Family of Services: GLBTQ Program, New York University Counseling Center, and the Training Institute for Mental Health where I completed a four-year program in psychoanalysis. I am also founder and director of clinical services of a sliding scale psychotherapy clinic: NYC Affirmative Psychotherapy.
